"We are expecting to continue to work on this timeline and being in a current pause until the Department of Defense budget on force structure is determined," post spokeswoman Monica Manganaro said Friday. "That could be after the elections, quite frankly. You are not seeing a lot of defense decisions coming out now in terms of what the future force is going to look like. That has not been determined." The latest development on the Army acquiring 82,800 acres for training comes two weeks after Fort Benning announced March 14 the continuation of a pause from Oct. 20.
